To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Rolinda, IOM, CCE became the Chief Professional Officer of the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne in January 2009. Sample received the Inspiration Award presented by Boys & Girls Club of America’s Southwest Region in 2016. While at the Club, she completed a $6 million capital campaign to construct a 12 acre Boys & Girls Club facility which has seen record breaking attendance of youth.
Sample currently serves on the Board of Cheyenne LEADS, is a Rotary Club of Cheyenne member and volunteers with United Way of Laramie County.
Previously, Sample served as Vice President of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the Laramie Wyoming Area Chamber of Commerce, Program Manager for the Norfolk Nebraska Area Chamber of Commerce, and Executive Director for the Kimball Nebraska Hospital Foundation.
Sample received the Certified Chamber Executive, CCE, designation in 2007. Sample is a graduate of Boys & Girls Club of America New Executive Orientation and Advanced Leadership Programs for Executives, Institutes for Organizational Management, Economic Development Institute, and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Peru State College in Nebraska. She is a graduate of Leadership Norfolk and Leadership Wyoming. She served as a Board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne, Board member of Wyoming Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, President of Laramie Lions Club, President of the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce Executives, Board member for the Laramie Economic Development Corporation, and on the Laramie County School District One Parent Advisory Council.
Sample and her husband, Terry, met as young kids and dated throughout college. They have a son, Trenton, who is an Aerospace Engineering student at Wichita State University.
Justin is our wonderful Assistant Director. In the past he was a director at The Cathedral Home as well as the coordinator for the LCCC GEAR UP program. He is so excited to serve the community and help kids at the Club become successful individuals. Justin is also part of the Leadership Cheyenne Class of 2018. During his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball.
Laura is the Club's Director of Finance. She brings 14 years of bookkeeping experience to the table along with a B.A. in accounting from the University of Phoenix. When she's not busy keeping our books in line, Laura enjoys mystery novels and classic literature as well as target practice, learning archery, cooking and baking.
Eric is our Director of Operations. He has over 20 years of management experience, enjoys meeting new people and helping out the Club. When he's not doing Club stuff, he's a musician!
Hannah Lensch is the Club's Resource Development and Marketing Coordinator. She comes to us with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and several years experience with nonprofit PR and resource Development. As a new Wyoming resident, Hannah is excited to join the Boys & Girl's Club team and get involved in the community. In her free time, Hannah enjoys running, hiking, writing, and spending time with her family and crazy dog, Hank.
Miss Dana is our Interim Unit Director at our Club! Previously, Dana was our Education Coordinator, and in that role she helped with homework, communicated with schools and even followed up with report cards to identify areas where we struggle to keep our grades looking their best. In addition to all that fun stuff, she also heads up our Smart Girls program and coaches the Boys & Girls Club's Girls on the Run team. In her free time, Dana enjoys being active through yoga, hiking, swimming and working out. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and Great Dane puppy, Lucy!
Cierra is our interim Education Coordinator, which means she is all about our academic success! Cierra has lots of experience working with kids, and she's most excited to know that she is influencing the lives of the kids at the Boys & Girls Club. In her free time, Cierra enjoys photography, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Mollie is our Office Manager and has been with us since 2005. She brings her diverse skillset from a background with the City of Cheyenne, collections and child support enforcement, HR and business management. Growing up in a family of seven sisters and two brothers, Mollie wished there would have been a Boys & Girls Club in Cheyenne when she was a kid.
Amazing doesn't quite cover our Miss Mollie. We are so grateful for everything she does.
Chad has been with the Club since 2007. Before we got a hold of him, he was a tackle football coach and he has shaped an awesome Sports & Recreation program here at the Club. He heads up our leadership group, the Youth Action Society and coaches our flag Football program. He makes us laugh a lot and we have tons of fun with him. He rocks!
Tes is our Art teacher and she oversees the Arts Program. She brings seven years of classroom experience, in addition to a lifetime supply of painting and creative knowledge! Tes is excited to see our kids' imagination and creativity grow. In her free time, Tes enjoys spending time with her four kids, playing sports, being outside, and painting every chance she gets!
Ben helps at the Club by being our amazing bus driver! He was previously a school bus driver but is excited to be involved in the worthwhile programs at the Club. In his free time, Ben enjoys being active in his church. Ben also loves to play guitar in his band and swing dance!
Destiny is one of our great Youth Development Professionals here at the Club, but before she was part of our staff, she was a Club member! Destiny attended the Club from 2006-2014. She is currently attending LCCC, and enjoys working out, hiking and swimming in her free time. Destiny is excited to help provide amazing experiences to Club members just like she had when she was a Club member!
Collin is one of our wonderful Youth Development Professionals at the Club. He is a graduate of Cheyenne East High School, ans has attended Laramie County Community College and Colorado Film School. Collin has lots of experience working with youth, and is excited to help the kids at the Boys & Girls club learn and grow in their unique personalities. In his free time, you'll probably find Collin at the movie theaters. He loves movies and is an expert popcorn maker. In addition, Collin loves to oil paint, read, hang out with his little cousins and camp.
Josh helps out the Club as another one of our awesome Youth Development Professionals! He is currently working toward his BA in history and hopes to become a history teacher. He is excited to get to use his teaching skills at the Club! In his free time, Josh enjoys watching movies with his wife and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
DJ is another of our awesome Youth Development Professionals, and runs the Passport to Manhood program for our Club. Not only is DJ a part of our staff, he is a previous Club member (since 2009) and was named Cheyenne Youth of the Year in 2015! DJ currently attends LCCC and is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law. Outside the Club, DJ loves to travel, meet new people, learn new things, and watch sports.
Miss Silvia is one of our Youth Development Professionals at the Club. In the past, she worked at Attention Homes as well as Crisis Center Youth Alternatives. She loves working with both the children at the Club and their families! Miss Silvia enjoys caring for her family and animals during her free time.
Carlos is a 2016 graduate of South High School, and works as a youth development professional at the Club, where he coordinates our Junior Master Gardeners Program. This fall, Carlos will begin college where he will study biology and secondary education with hopes of becoming a teacher. Carlos loves working at the Club because of the energy and imagination the Club kids bring each day. He enjoys teaching the science program because the kids are very engaged and excited about learning new things. In his free time, Carlos enjoys hiking, traveling, watching baseball, learning and working with kids.
