At the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne, we're passionate about providing quality programming for our community's youth. We strive to offer educational programs for kids that will help them develop skills and interests.

Youth of the Year

Established in 1947, Youth of the Year is BGCA's premier recognition program for Club members, promoting service to the Club, community, family, academic success, strong moral character, life goals, poise and public speaking ability.

Torch Club

A small service group for club members ages 11 to 13, Torch Club is similar to a community committee-oriented environment where members elect officers and work together to plan and implement activities relating to servicing the Club and community, education, health and fitness and social recreation.

Keystone

Similar to Torch Club, Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club's Movement's ultimate teen program. This unique leadership development experience provides opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18.

Cowboy Ethics and Happy Trails

This program revolves around the book of the same name that spawned a movement based on "Ten Principles to Live By," a modern-day translation of the unwritten Code of the West emphasizing good character and ethics.

Cooking & Healthy Habits

A component to our Triple Play program, we teach basic to advanced cooking for kiddos of all ages in a fun and educational environment.

Passport to Manhood

This adventurous program promotes and teaches responsibility in Club boys ages 11 to 14. Passport consists of 14 sessions, each concentrating on a specific aspect of character and manhood through highly interactive activities.

SMART Girls

Designed for Club girls ages 8 to 17, SMART Girls emphasizes on health, fitness, prevention, education and self-esteem enhancement.

We also have an area of programming focusing on academics and life experiences in a fun and creative way. These activities for kids include:

Power Hour

Encourages our members to be self-directed learners and supports academic success by providing homework help and tutoring.

Robo Tech: A Club Tech Curricula

A fun and exciting way to explore science, technology, engineering and math. We also participate in the FIRST Robotics program and competition.

Club Tech

An ambitious, thought-provoking initiative that helps members build their computer skills through state-of-the art software and technology.

Money Matters: Make it Count

Money Matters encourages financial responsibility and independence among Club members. Younger kids experience what it's like to run their own city while older participants (ages 13 to 18) learn how to balance a checkbook, manage a budget, as well as save and invest.

CareerLaunch

CareerLaunch is an opportunity for Club teens ages 13 to 18 to embark on a journey exploring potential vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work.

Ultimate Journey

Advocates for going green and teaches environmental responsibility through exploration.
