The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne serves children age 6-18 out of our Clubhouse in South Cheyenne. Our mission is to is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Our K-2nd grade program is a great introductory program that opens the door to exploration for our younger kids. Six and seven year-olds have an opportunity to explore the Arts, Recreation, Healthy Habits and Science & Technology at their level with one consistent instructor specially trained in youth development for their age group.
We understand that our Members have different wants and needs, especially our Teen members. We provide a variety of age-specific programs to prepare our members for success, including financial literacy, career preparation, leadership and much more . Our Teen program is designed to address the many issues facing teens today, and provide them with the tools necessary to overcome these issues.
We offer one of the most comprehensive youth Arts programs in the state. With a focus on three core disciplines there is guaranteed to be an opportunity for every young artist's imagination to run wild with creative freedom. Learn More
With an 8,000 square foot gym, football and soccer field, baseball field, double basketball court and volleyball sand court, young athletes have the opportunity to fine-tune their skills and build new ones. We understand athletics and healthy habits go hand in hand so we've got everything off the game field covered too.

Our Club is all about building incomparable character and leadership skills. Community involvement and leadership is integrated into everything we do here. We also have programs designed specifically to enhance those skills.
Established in 1947, Youth of the Year is BGCA's premier recognition program for Club members, promoting service to the Club, community, family, academic success, strong moral character, life goals; and poise, and public speaking ability.
A small service group for club members ages 11-13, torch club is similar to a community committee oriented environment where members elect officers and work together to plan and implement activities relating to servicing the Club and community, education, health and fitness and social recreation.
Similar to Torch Club, Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club's Movement's ultimate teen program. This unique leadership development experience provides opportunities for young people ages 14-18.
Generously sponsored by Cheyenne Frontier Days, this program revolves around the book of the same name that spawned a movement based on "Ten Principles to Live By", a modern-day translation of the unwritten Code of the West emphasizing good character and ethics.
Scouting activities are offered weekly at the Club.
We are a tremendous advocate for healthy lifestyles. Our Health & Life Skills programs include:
A component to our Triple Play program, we teach basic to advanced cooking for kiddos of all ages in a fun and educational environment.
This program teaches internet safety skills through engaging multi-media and offline interaction with Club professionals in three age-appropriate groups.
This adventurous program promotes and teaches responsibility in Club boys ages 11 to 14. Passport consists of 14 sessions, each concentrating on a specific aspect of character and manhood through highly interactive activities.
Designed for Club girls ages 8-17, SMART Girls emphasizes on health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement.
This area of programming focuses on academics and life experiences in a fun and creative way. Programs include:
Encourages our members to be self-directed learners and supports academic success by providing homework help and tutoring.
A fun and exciting way to explore science, technology, engineering and math. We also participate in the FIRST Robotics program and competition
An ambitious, thought provoking initiative that helps members build their computer skills through state-of-the art software and technology.

Younger kids experience what it's like to run their own city while older participants (ages 13-18) learn how to balance a checkbook, manage a budget as well as save and invest.
